And thats a promise.The Opportunity: Relationship Manager for the leading Trade and Commodity Finance (TCF) bank in the world. Located in INGs Houston office, this role will report up to the Head of TCF Houston and ultimately to the Head of ING TCF US in New York.Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role: You originate, structure and execute new commodity finance transactions across the full spectrum of commodities including energy, metals and softs borrowersYou source new commodity merchant clients for the growing Trade and Commodity Finance (TCF) portfolio with a focus on the USGC regionYou manage and monitor an existing portfolio of lending exposures ranging from large, global commodity traders to small to mid: size regional merchants.You support and expand existing client relationships both in the core lending products (borrowing base, unsecured RCF, transactional lending and payment undertakings) and through cross: sell initiatives with Financial Markets, M and A, Advisory and DCMYou collaborate with: and mentor: junior colleaguesSpecific Tasks Include: Monitoring market developments and trends, and identifying new commercial opportunities Managing deal teams and coaching junior team membersEstablishing and maintaining relationships with other banks active in the market Being responsible for all stages of origination and execution of individual transactions, including: sell product teams and Syndications legal documentation negotiation and execution process coordinating of administrative and monitoring processes Facilitating cross: sell of a range of products to clients Processing amendment and waiver requestsEnsuring timely risk ratings and reviews of the existing credit portfolio Responsible for customer due diligence and compliance: related tasks Support Head of TCF HOU and Head of TCF in the implementation of TCF policy in relation to the markets in which TCF US operatesParticipating in INGs in: house training curriculum as well as in external courses and seminarsAttending industry conferencesProfileQualifications / Education: You hold a Bachelors in business administration, finance or a related field. Masters degree is preferred. Will accept combination of degrees equivalent to a US Bachelors.Experience / Knowledge: Minimum 6 years of banking industry experience. Trade and Commodity Finance experience preferred but not required.Must have experience working with a broad suite of banking products in the daily banking and advisory domains.
