Mid. Api Tester Digital Solutions

Responsibilities :

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality, performance, security, and reliability of APIs.- Utilize various API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) to send test requests, analyze responses, and identify bugs.- Collaborate with developers to understand API requirements and translate them into clear and concise test cases.- Write clean and well-documented test scripts using scripting languages like Python or Java (depending on the role).- Analyze test results, identify defects, and report them using bug-tracking tools.- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on API design and implementation.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in API testing.

Qualifications : Min 4+ years of experience in Manual/Automation testing of APIs and microservices.- Knowledge of tools such as Postman, K6 (good to have)- Experienced with JIRA, Confluence, Github- Exposure to different types of API requests (XML, JSON, etc)- Clear understanding of agile development cycle- strong interpersonal, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills- a strong ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced changing environment- Willing to support off hour releases and testing
